David Youngren, founder of Save Africa Now was in Red Deer over the weekend to promote the exciting new film, Africa Sing Me Your Song alongside Daniel Kooman who co-produced the documentary and filmed the short in Tanzania, Africa in December 2006.
The film, the story of AIDS orphans in Africa, many of whom are left on the street, was well received by audiences, as was the ‘My Name is Someone’ Campaign that Youngren and Kooman launched in the city. The goal of Save Africa Now is to build orphanages and schools for one of the 13 million orphans in sub-Saharan Africa, to rescue them and train them as future leaders on the continent.

Raise Their Voice was proud to sponsor the event and to donate all the profits of the sales over the weekend towards the cause.
